Phil Rothschadl

Phil Rothschadl is a graduate of UW-Madison, with an undergraduate degree in Music Education and a Master’s of Music Education. As an undergraduate, he performed with Wisconsin Singers and marched with the University of Wisconsin marching band.

He is currently teaching 4th and 5th grade band at Swanson Elementary School in Brookfield, and 6th grade and jazz at Wisconsin Hills Middle School. Prior to teaching elementary school, he taught middle school in Brookfield and high school in Oak Creek.

Rothschadl plays trumpet in the Nordic Brass Quintet, Waukesha Area Symphonic Band, Tally Ho Brass, Blaskapella Milwaukee, and also plays saxophone with the Jackson Park Jazz Orchestra. He enjoys playing organ in church and has been doing so since the 8th grade. He has been playing organ at Blessed Sacrament Church in Milwaukee since 1997.

In his free time, Rothschadl is active in Tae Kwon Do, currently a fourth degree black belt. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
